My main objective for this last assignment is for it to be important to me and for it to open the viewers eyes more. I wanted to incorporate art because it is very important to me. Just taking pictures of my artwork isn't enough so I thought deeper about it. I want to capture images of everyday art. Some people believe that art isn't important but we use it daily without even realizing it. For example, the first thing that came to mind was road signs. We use them everyday while driving. Another form of art some of us use daily is makeup. Small things like packages and toys also have artistic elements. Then there are big objects like planes and cars that are based off design, which is art. Even objects that we don't necessarily use everyday is still art. We oversee all these things and don't realize that if it weren't for art, we wouldn't have them.
In this collection I incorporated many photographic techniques. For composition, I used leading lines to make it more visually appealing. I also used emphasis on the main subject in the pictures by clearing the background. One of the images also had movement.
